DESCRIPTION:Apple wassailing is an ancient community tradition (originating in southern England) in which we gather to share cider\, sing incantations to the trees\, and honor the land that nourishes us–all to welcome a good crop this season. Join us at your downtown Santa Cruz Community Orchard for the 6rd annual Santa Cruz Apple Wassail. Cider\, toast\, ribbons\, trees\, song\, laughter\, noise\, celebration! \nWe encourage also your contributions of other cultural traditions that honor the land and winter agricultural tasks. \nTBA! Date and time still to be announced for 6th annual apple wassail. \nAll are welcomed warmly. Bring your cups for steamy cider\, and please bring treats to share! Festive costumes encouraged but not necessary. Free event\, orchard donations accepted.
