Riverside Community Orchard Workday & Irrigation 101
Come join us at *your* downtown Santa Cruz community fruit orchard! Following up on last month's successful planting of the first 16 trees (apples, pears, citrus, stonefruit!) at our new Mike Fox Park site on the lower San Lorenzo river levee, this Sunday we'll be rounding things out with several more trees (persimmon, mulberry, more!), doing some gentle companion planting, and digging some fun trenches to lay out our irrigation plumbing.
