Apple wassailing is an ancient community tradition (originating in southern England) in which we gather to share cider, sing incantations to the trees, and honor the land that nourishes us–all to welcome a good crop this season. Join us at your downtown Santa Cruz Community Orchard for the 6rd annual Santa Cruz Apple Wassail. Cider, toast, ribbons, trees, song, laughter, noise, celebration!

We encourage also your contributions of other cultural traditions that honor the land and winter agricultural tasks.
